1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

N.THING Inc. (hereinafter "Company") collects and uses personal information for the following purposes in providing the MartCal service (hereinafter "Service"):
  • Registration and management: Identity verification, maintaining service eligibility
  • Service provision: Content delivery, social features such as likes and comments
  • Service improvement: Usage statistics analysis, quality enhancement

2. Personal Information Collected

  • Required: Email address, password (stored encrypted), nickname
  • Social login: Social account identifiers (Apple ID, Google Account ID)
  • Generated during use: Like history, comment content
  • Automatically collected: app and web usage records (app opens, screens visited, whether features such as sharing or rating were used, app version, language, region setting) and a random installation identifier generated by the app. These records are not linked to your account, email, or device identifiers, and are not used for advertising or tracking. We do not collect advertising identifiers, and we do not store IP addresses together with usage records. However, IP addresses may remain for a limited period in server access logs kept to provide the service.

3. Retention and Use Period

The Company destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of collection and use has been achieved.
  • Upon account deletion: Immediately destroyed
  • Consumer complaint or dispute records: 3 years (E-Commerce Act)
  • Login records: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
  • App and web usage records: 1 year from collection

4. Provision to Third Parties

The Company does not, in principle, provide personal information to third parties. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:
  • When the user has given prior consent
  • When required by law

5. Outsourcing of Processing

The Company outsources the processing of personal information to the following for service provision:
  • Supabase, Inc. (Database and authentication services)
  • Google Cloud (Social login)
  • Apple Inc. (Social login)
  • Vercel (Web hosting)

  • Recipient: Supabase, Inc. (United States)
  • Items transferred: Email, nickname, social account identifiers
  • Purpose: User authentication and data storage
  • Retention period: Until account deletion

6. User Rights and How to Exercise Them

Users may exercise the following rights regarding their personal information at any time:
  • Request to access personal information
  • Request to correct or delete personal information
  • Request to suspend processing of personal information
  • Account deletion

These rights can be exercised through the service settings or by email (martcal@nthing.net).

The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:
  • Encryption of personal information
  • Technical measures against hacking
  • Access control management and restrictions

The Service restricts membership registration for children under 14 years of age. If personal information of children under 14 is collected, consent from a legal guardian will be obtained.
